Over the past few weeks, members of the Aboff's team dedicated a few hours out of their day to volunteer with Island Harvest Food bank.
Founded in 1992, Island Harvest Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. They distribute fresh produce, meat and non-perishables throughout Long Island and assist thousands of Long Islanders daily through our innovative programming and network of community partners.
Our team worked to separate food donated from popular retailers into its proper categories to make it easy to distribute across Long Island. We were overwhelmed at the amount of food that gets donated daily from these popular grocery chains, and were so proud to be a part of it. Aboff's has always been a part of the community, and we LOVE giving back!
