The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society is an organization that conducts aerial surveys and live animal captures to collect and disseminate data to environmental managers, ensuring the long-term survival of critical members of our ocean ecosystems. Their outreach programs at schools, in libraries, and for community centers educate the public about the impact we all have on the marine environment.
Aboff's employees had the pleasure of being a part of the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society Beach Cleanup this past weekend at Sunken Meadow State Park. We learned about sea turtles and other types of marine life that are on our beaches, such as horseshoe crabs, jingle shells, and slipper shells. After learning more, we made our way to the beach to pick up almost 15lbs. of trash.
